This Privacy Policy explains how Paw Mayor ("we", "us", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our iOS application. By using Paw Mayor, you agree to the practices described below.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and an email (which may be Apple's private relay address). We use this to create and secure your account.
- Content you provide. Pet names, photos, and profile details you submit when nominating a pet, plus your votes and badges.
- Usage data. Basic in-app activity such as votes cast and screens viewed, used to operate features like leaderboards and analytics.
- Push notification token. If you enable notifications, we store a device token so we can send you election reminders and updates.
How we use your information
- To provide core features: voting, leaderboards, nominations, and badges.
- To send notifications you have opted into, such as voting reminders.
- To operate and improve the app, and to keep it secure.
- To process subscriptions and purchases through Apple.
How your data is stored
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, our backend provider. Access is restricted by row-level security so that you can only access data you are permitted to see. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Third-party services
- Apple. Sign in with Apple and in-app purchases are handled by Apple under their privacy terms.
- Supabase. Provides our database, authentication, and storage.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete Account inside the app. This is irreversible.
- Notifications. You can turn off push notifications in your device Settings.
- Access or questions. Contact us anytime to ask about your data.
Children's privacy
Paw Mayor is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
